I am VERY excited to announce and kickoff my series Making Rituals next Thursday 10/21 with Avery LaFlamme of South Side Home Movie Project (SSHMP) at Arts and Public Life.
This gathering is what I call a "study group" where I take something I'm exploring in my own life/work and gather a group to explore it with me. Avery and I will discuss his work on documentation and archiving in his personal work and with SSHMP and then we will do an activity and discuss together. Open to ALL but especially artists and families that are interested in thinking about ritual in their everyday lives.
There is very limited in-person seating for this event and I would love for you to join and explore with me! Bring your kids. Bring your grandmas. This space is wheelchair accessible. Masks required. 12+ attendees must be vaxxed or show a negative Covid test.
