TURN Book + Tape Release - May 20th at Hungry Brain

I am excited to announce that my artist book TURN is DONE and I am hosting a reading to honor its completion on Tuesday May 20th at Hungry Brain. I will read the poems of TURN accompanied by by the sounds of dear ones Macie Stewart and Ben LaMar Gay.

The final edition of TURN features 13 original poems letterpressed by Raychel Steinbach, as well as 4 relief prints, a relief printed cover, and hand-binding done by me (and friends).

The release also features a recording of the book expressively accompanied by Macie and Ben — available digitally on Bandcamp and on cassette tape with a relief printed cover. Excellently and graciously recorded and mixed by Dave Vettraino!

I would be honored if you would join me for my book release at the Brain. If you’re not able to make the 20th in Chicago, I’m also doing a virtual listening party on Bandcamp on 5/23.
