Meet the 2024 WILD YAMS SEED Residents!

It is our GREAT pleasure to introduce the five artists of 2024 WILD YAMS SEED Cohort!

This past Sunday we had a blast meeting together for the first time at THE cre.æ.tive ROOM. Joined by our families and (TCR) resident artist Sandra McCollum, we heard about each other's practices and celebrated with a delicious cake from Brown Sugar Bakery!

We want to thank all of the wonderful artists who took the time and care of submitting their WILD YAMS applications for the SEED Residency. We also want to thank our amazing panelists - Romi Crawford, Akilah Halley, Clemenstien Love, Meida McNeal, and Dorian Sylvain for their time and expertise as they reviewed the application. 

We cannot wait to spend the coming year in residence, community, and collaboration with this exciting and dynamic group of Black Artist Caretakers!
